From its vantage point along a forest-covered ridgeline, Beechmont offers unobstructed views of Tamborine Mountain. You can clearly see Cunninghams Gap and other Scenic Rim landforms, which are crystal clear and visible, as well as Flinders Peak, Moogerah Peaks, and the D’Aguilar Range to the north-west of Brisbane. Located just north-west of Beechmont is Lower Beechmount, while Binna Burra positions itself on the southern horizon. Roads in Beechmont are narrow and winding, prone to rockfalls and steep slopes. Beechmont provides a path to Binna Burra Lodge and further into Lamington National Park. A favourite among hangliders and paragliders is the Rosins Lookout Conservation Park.
